Camping
Why is it so cold? Everything I said about Missouri's geology before is wrong. Southern Missouri is so cool. The whole place is hilly and half the rocks down there are like, purple. Well, some of them are brick red, but there are, like, giant maroon hills down there.
Also a lot of racoons and such. And rain. fortunatly, it didn't rain while we were out in the field. Just when we were sleeping or eating dinner. Another thing I learned is that Missouri is full of the the most lovely picnic spots. Especially this hill called Knob Lick. (Grade school teachers always made it sound like grown ups never made imature, sexual comments about stuff. Even the professors couldn't resist the allure of "Knob Lick." Grade school teachers are lying monsters.) It's such a nice place, though. Did you know that cactus grows nativly in Missouri? Bet you didn't.
Anyway. Stuff. I still have no idea what what happened here over the weekend, and I have to go study.
Bye bye.
